Born August 10, 1969, Tim Cantor is an American self-taught surrealist artist and writer who began painting at age 5 using his great-grandfather’s oil paints and brushes. His great-grandfather, Lloyd Dundas Whiffen (1885-1951), was an English artist, establishing an artistic lineage that flows through Tim’s work.

Tim’s exceptional talent gained early recognition when, at age 15, one of his paintings was acquired for the permanent collection of the White House in Washington D.C. He also received a Bank of America Achievement in Arts award.
