Hungry Birds Street Food Tours is Amsterdam’s original food-tour company, leading small-group walking tours through the De Pijp neighbourhood and Albert Cuyp Market.
Founded in 2013, Hungry Birds is the oldest street-food tour company in Amsterdam. Its guides — known as “Mother Birds” — lead small groups on relaxed walking tours through De Pijp, sampling traditional Dutch, ethnic and former-colonial dishes while meeting local producers along the way.
Tours meet centrally near Amsterdam Centraal (Stationsplein) and head into the De Pijp district. For more Amsterdam food in one place, the Foodhallen in Oud-West is another great stop, an easy trip from Dam Square.
